With a great turnout of 25+ people from SEQ clubs Wynnum Redlands Member Lynne Miller presented a relaxed friendly afternoon of discussion regarding the 2025 ANBC 49th National Show which was recently hosted in North Queensland.

It was a great social event with Dave / Deb & Bill / Pat once again firing up the Kitchen and making sure no one went without a good feed & a hot cuppa on a rather brisk day.

Sunday 27th October 2024, WRBS attended the Budgerigar Society of Bundaberg Show and had a wonderful day.

Saturday 26th October 2024, WRBS went on a road trip to Bundaberg. We were invited to visit Glenn & Lyn Ryan’s Aviary. We also had a lovely dinner at the Canecutter’s Kitchen restaurant - Sugar Country Motor Inn.

Saturday 21st September 2024, WRBS had an aviary visit to Glen & Michelle Kennedy’s. Many thanks to Glen & Michelle for our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and your lovely birds.

Sunday 15th September 2024, WRBS was a part of the All Queensland Super Show, what a success. A truly super show, great people and some cracker birds. Thank you Peter Thurn, Troy Holmes, Neale Love and Garry Menzies for being our judges and big thank you to everyone who attended for making it such a great day.

Sunday 25th August 2024, WRBS Members showed their birds at the Brisbane & Northern Suburbs Budgerigar Society Annual Show.

Sunday 18th August 2024, the Wynnum Redlands Budgerigar Society Inc. held a table show, and it was a great success!
The day was filled with wonderful people and learning opportunities.

Monday 12th August 2024, Bill & Pat Sedgwick represented WRBS attending the BlueCare Wynnum Aged Care Facility for Ekka Monday. Also in attendance was the Bayside Wood Turners. WRBS has been attending Ekka Monday at BlueCare Wynnum for 23 years.
